How the Placement Process Works

Five structured steps from intake to post-placement check-in.

01
Employer Intake
Submit a brief intake describing the role, required skills, placement type, expected hours or duration, and your capacity to support the candidate.
02
Candidate Matching
We identify 2โ€“4 candidates from the directory whose background, skills, and availability align with your brief. A short candidate summary is shared โ€” no full CVs without candidate consent.
03
Introduction & Fit Conversation
The employer receives a 30-minute introduction call with each shortlisted candidate. FWC26 facilitates the first session.
04
Placement Confirmation
Once you select a candidate, we provide a placement brief covering scope, reporting structure, and any applicable wage subsidy documentation. The agreement is signed directly between employer and candidate.
05
Post-Placement Check-In
A mid-placement check-in with both employer and candidate at the 30-day mark to address any early misalignment.

Canadian Wage Subsidy Programs

What Organizations Need to Qualify

FWC26 places candidates with organizations that meet a minimum standard of workplace readiness.

A defined role with a clear scope of work and named deliverables
A named supervisor or manager who will provide regular feedback to the candidate
A communication structure: scheduled check-ins and a direct channel for the candidate to raise blockers
Capacity to pay the candidate on a confirmed schedule (where the placement is paid)
Willingness to complete a mid-placement and end-of-placement evaluation
No expectation of full-time productivity from day one โ€” this is a development environment, not a cost-reduction strategy

No Cost for Initial Consultation or Candidate Matching

There is no cost to the employer for the initial intake conversation or the candidate matching process. FWC26 Marketing Group charges a placement coordination fee upon successful placement confirmation. The fee structure is provided during the intake conversation and is scaled to the type and duration of the placement.
